How to set up your business profile.
Your first two minutes in the app. Add your business details, choose what you operate and the records you keep, list your fridges and equipment, and set your opening days, so every check matches your kitchen.

How to set up your business profile, in words.
01 Essentials
Tell us the essentials
Scroll down to the Personalise section. Type your business name and location, then your name and initials, and tap Continue.
02 Your business
Choose what you operate
Pick the kind of business you have and what you sell. You can choose more than one, such as takeaway and café.
03 Records
Build your record book
Choose the records you keep: fridges and freezers, cooking and holding, cleaning, food waste, the food safety diary, staff training and fire safety. Selecting all of them is a good start.
04 Equipment
Choose your equipment
Some appliances are already added. Delete any you don't have, or add your own: type a name such as "Fridge" and tap Add.
05 Opening hours
Fit it around your day
Set your opening and closing times and the days you open (switch off any day you are closed). Turn on the daily reminder, then tap Finish setup.

Hi, and thank you for installing Food Hygiene Record Book. Today I will show you how to set up your business profile. It only takes a minute. So let's start.
First, scroll down a little to the Personalise section. Type your business name, type your business location, then your name and your initials. Now tap Continue.
Choose what kind of business you have and what you sell. There are lots of options, and you can pick more than one, whatever fits your business. Then tap Continue.
Now you will see more options, like fridges, cooking and holding. It's up to you what you add. I recommend selecting all of them. Tap Continue.
Next is your equipment: what you have in your kitchen. Some items are already added. You can delete them or add your own. For example, type "Fridge" and tap Add. Then tap Continue.
Now set your opening time and closing time. Then choose the days you open. Closed on Tuesday? Switch it off. Open on Tuesday? Make it green. Set up your daily reminder, then tap Finish setup.
And that's it. Your business profile is ready.
