Common questions
Can I use the app for more than one business?
Yes. On the Home screen, use the business selector to add, edit or switch restaurants. New records are saved against the business selected at the time.
How does cloud backup work?
Cloud backup is optional. Create or sign in to a backup account from the Home screen. When signed in, the app saves a secure cloud copy and checks for the latest copy when the app opens.
How do I recover records after reinstalling?
Install the app and sign in to Cloud Backup with the same email address and password. Records that were successfully backed up can then be restored. Records kept only on the deleted device may not be recoverable.
Can I share records with an officer or manager?
Yes. Use the share button on the Home screen, choose the business and date range, then create a PDF report. You decide which app or person receives the report.
Does the app replace legal or food-safety advice?
No. The app helps organise records. Food businesses remain responsible for following food-safety law, official guidance and local authority requirements.
How can I delete cloud-backup data?
In the app, open Home, then Secure cloud backup, then Backup account. Choose Delete backup account and cloud records and confirm. This permanently deletes the backup account and its cloud records. Records stored only on your iPhone remain there until removed in the app or the app is deleted.
